1979 Lincoln Mark V

Asked by Joe Nov 13, 2014 at 11:27 PM about the 1979 Lincoln Continental

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car has been sitting for 5 weeks and yesterday i went to start it. The car turns over
and the gas is getting to the engine. Last summer i did a complete tune up with a new
starter, solenoid, and plugs and wires. I also had the cap and rotor replaced. What could
be the issue?

WE HAVE A 1960 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL MARK 5 AND WE ARE LOOKING FOR A ELECTRONIC IGNITION AND BACK REAR WINDOW REGULATOR FOR IT. CAN ANYONE HELP POINT ME IN A DIRECTION TO FIND THESE PARTS?

Keep in mind boys you gotta know exactly where to point that ignition light on your test light. I had a great test light at one time it was top of the line.
