Considering buying a 1970 Ford Ranchero GT, any comments?

Asked by Breezy925 Apr 26, 2013 at 12:35 PM about the 1970 Ford Ranchero

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

It's a V8 and has a 351 Cleveland engine. It's for my 16 year old son who loves classics. Would this be a good buy? Whats the mpg?

The miles per gallon is not going to be good. Fifteen miles per gallon with a V8 was considered to be real good in those days.

Keep the tires fresh, the ball joints new and the brakes in tip-top shape for the boy...cannot make it a source for blame in the future~
