Need to replace my 2008 Subaru Impreza 2.5 non turbo engine up to what year engine can I look for?

My 2008 Subaru Impreza engine failed on me
almost 195000 miles and passenger side header
replacement about 10000 back from the 195000.
Instead of having the engine worked on im opting to
find an engine and dropping in. Up to what year
Subaru Impreza can I find an engine? Can a
2010,2012,2013 etc Impreza engine work??

I don't know where You are .I'm from Calgary ...if You go to place where they buying and selling parts like "Pick & Pull " place ,they tells You which engine is compatible. Mike
