RED Key light display on Dash

Asked by GuruBMC4S Jan 22, 2019 at 03:10 PM about the 2008 Mazda MAZDA6

Question type: General

Hi, I have a Mazda Atenza 2008 and have noticed a RED key light display
come up on my dashboard... Can anyone please tell me what this may
mean? Car is stop/starting as normal and lock/unlocking is working just fine.
I have 2 key fobs and 1 is generally used more that the other.
I did leave the car the other day with the car in my purse while the car was
still running as my partner was inside while i popped into the shops. could
this have been the issue? the car started beeping and stopped but this light
is still there..
Thank you!

Your key fob is probably rechargeable or needs the battery replaced.
