the numbers off the block is 4006880-860

Those are the casting numbers - which if you check again I will bet they are actually "4006830-360" which makes this a 360 that was made somewhere betwen 1976 - 1980. There is an actual date code (month-day-year format) on that block that will tell you what you want to know.
