You can't tell from the VIN on a 1968 model. Only the model number, model year, assembly plant, and sequential unit number of the vehicle is in the VIN. You'd need a copy of the build sheet for the vehicle. Or perhaps a Torino enthusiast forum can tell you what to be looking for. Sorry! Jim
