2005 Audi A3 power cutting out

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi guys, my 2005 Audi A3 2.0L TDi has been off
the road for a couple of months now with separate
mechanics not finding the solution, the problem is
the car will start fine, then once the engine starts
heating up to operating temperature (5-10 mins) it
starts cutting out and eventually dies, then won't
really start again until it is completely cooled
again. No fail codes show, I've had a fuel pump,
injectors, sensors and wiring loom all changed to
try and solve it but no joy, even Audi specialists are
stumped. I've my guy going to change a one-way
valve today but I fear it will be the same outcome.
All help appreciated as it is melting my brain.

Honestly not too sure, it's been with two separate mechanics, an audi specialist and now with an independent Audi mechanic so I'd imagine along the road it's been checked. I know the cold start software in the brain was changed as well to see if it could help but no change

Had the same issue with a Audi tt,spent lots of money on same issue, funny that a brain will not tell you when its bad, just saying, have it checked.

Locate a tech with a VAS 6150B / C and a multimeter The PCM is simple to check. $100 fee to locate the issue is fair Most likely a harness issue. I call it pattern recognition( A3 2.0L ) any Audi tech knows it too.
