What kind of fuel mileage could be expected from a 1987 Land Cruiser with the 6 cylinder Diesel Engine?

I have a 1994, with the 1HD-T 4.2 Turbo Diesel 6-cylinder engine, automatic trans, full time 4x4, 33 inch tires and 4.56 gears. It gets around 6-7kms per liter average.

i havea hj60 with a 2h motor and although fuel gauge we workedout it gets about 550 to the tank on road work and 200 to 300 off road

you are supposed to do 100km per 14litres,thats the average fuel consuption with the 4.2 litres 16 valve td engine.
